this was the best music that ever came through my ears this afternoon. (period) . had a decent-sounding tape years ago so i was familiar w/ 2nd set and such but the richness and color that just came through my speakers was a thing of joy - i couldnt stop grinning on this cold feb. aft. . thx to cm and all involved so much.

Yes, but that's only a 16-bit FLAC, and I'm pretty sure the streaming is only a VBR compressed from that. No comparison to a 24-bit FLAC if you've got a system that can make use of the extra data.

does this 24 bit thing mean we all have to start over again? 2400 cassettes +a couple hundred cd's will we ever have definitive copies?
